Estonian national road 2


National Road 2 (also known as Tallinn-Tartu-Võru-Luhamaa highway)is the longest highway in Estonia with a length of 287,9 km. The first 5,5 run in Tallinn (Narva maantee, Pronksi tänav, Tartu maantee). The first 40 kilometres is a four-lane highway.
The highway starts from A. Laikmaa street in Tallinn and ends at the National Road 7 (Riia-Pihkva highway).
The Tallinn-Tartu-Võru-Luhamaa highway was the first highway in Estonia to receive stationary speed cameras.〔(Maanteeamet paneb täna Tallinna-Tartu maanteele üles esimese kiiruskaamera ) Postimees, 7. juuli 2009〕
